Pittsburgh Pro 2024 was held last weekend, and many icons of the bodybuilding realm took part in the show. Bodybuilders from all categories posed in the show, making it a huge success. Last year’s Arnold Classic Champion Samson Dauda, the 2021 Arnold Classic Champion Nick Walker aka the Mutant, Urs Kalecinski, and the 5x Mr. Olympia Classic Physique champion C Bum’s rival Ramon Dino posed down at the Pittsburgh Pro. But there was one bodybuilder who grabbed everyone’s attention. 

The current Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford was the one who grabbed everyone’s attention at the show with his exceptional posing. The famous Instagram page ‘bisandtris’ posted a montage of him posing. However, the fans were not in Lunsford’s favor even after his exceptional posing.

Derek Lunsford did a series of striking poses in the montage and started with a salute. The Olympia champion started his posing routine with the classic front double biceps. He flexed his symmetrical biceps in the pose and showcased his well-built abs by holding his breath. The next pose the former 212 Mr. Olympia hit was the front lat spread, showcasing his widespread lats looking like his wings, and his traps were perfectly built. 

Lunsford didn’t just stop there; he flexed his right bicep in a different pose. He did a side chest pose, and his chest was full and round. The striations and separation lines on his chest were looking to the point. The former 212 Mr. Olympia’s quads looked exceptional, and the separation lines on his thighs complimented his overall physique. 

After flexing his frontal physique, he moved to flaunt his back physique. The current Mr. Olympia started with the rear lat and bicep pose and showcased his gigantic back. However, his fans were not in favor of his exceptional physique and left their suggestions for the current Mr. Olympia Champion.

A fan called Lunsford the “Most overrated bodybuilder“

A bodybuilding critic suggested Derek Lunsford change his category and commented, “Should move back to 212.” An Instagram user wrote his views on the current Mr. Olympia Champion’s arms and commented, “Instagram took down my first comment. Needless to say it’s sad that this is the Mr Olympia we have. Look at those arms.” The harsh comments didn’t just stop there; one user commented, “that aint mr o.“

Another user commented, comparing Lunsford’s last year’s physique, and wrote, “Look the same as last year.” A bodybuilding fan showcased his concerns about bodybuilding, commenting, “Looks great. But i can’t really believe that this is the best what we have in the world right now, as far as open bodybuilding concerns.” A critic simply called Lunsford, “Most overrated bodybuilder.“
