The early exit from the Championship run was an unexpected result for the two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner. It was for the first time he had such a shocker of a result ever since the introduction of the elimination format in playoffs back in 2014. Not the year #18 driver expected, but if you look at the brighter side of things, Kyle Busch’s season-long contract saga ended recently with him joining Richard Childress and the team from the start of the 2023 season.
And not only that, earlier this year, Busch and his family also welcomed a new member in their family, Lennix Key Busch. The second child of Kyle Busch and Samantha Busch was born on May 10, 2022. Recently, the current Joe Gibbs Racing driver shared a picture of himself with his family on Twitter.

The picture showed the daughter trying to reach the son, Brexton’s ride. This led to a fan’s comment on the photo. The comment stated, “Oh my goodness look at that hair!! She’s too sweet. That’s it. She will need her own car soon(heart emoji)”.
This led to an epic response by the #18 driver, tweeting, “That ain’t happening” with a GIF of him and his wife Samantha.

The tweet implied a lot of things regarding the decision of their daughter’s future, which seemingly lies with “Rowdy” Busch’s wife.
If not the daughter, there’s another Busch in line to leave an impact in the world of racing.
Busch’s bright future with RCR
With his father and uncle who already made a mark in the NASCAR world, the next generation of the Busch is set to have a bright future in the world of racing if he intends to pursue it in the long run. Brexton Locke Busch, the seven-year-old, has been given an option to join Richard Childress Racing in the future.

After calling them, RC said to Samantha, “Now, I know how families work because I’ve got a daughter, I’ve got a grandmother, that looks after contracts, so I’m sure you look after Brexton’s contracts,”.
Then he pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to the 7-year-old saying, “So here is a contract for an option to drive for RCR in the future, how about that?”
The son gladly accepted that offer, and then in the end RC added, “Thank you, Buddy“.
