Houck, who was on the mound, got hit by the ball after one of his pitches, which injured him severely. Tyler Milliken shared a video of the incident on Twitter. It read, “Scary sight at Fenway as Tanner Houck gets hit in the face. He did walk off under his own power and seemed to motion to his teammates. Awful.”

According to multiple reports, Houck is currently undergoing an evaluation. They further add that tests are being done to assert the impact of the injury. Though the player left the field without additional support, it was a scary moment for all, including the fans.
