Despite her absence from the WTA Tour, Eugenie Bouchard continues to be a fan favorite. Recently, the Canadian engaged in a Q&A on Instagram, which drew several questions from her fans across the world.
One of her fans asked her what her favorite food was. She responded with a photo of her eating a slice of pizza, along with a few emoticons of the iconic Italian dish.

Eugenie Bouchard reveals pizza as her favorite food
Bouchard became one of the best players on the WTA Tour on the back of a successful 2014. However, injuries plagued her career since then, with the Canadian now ranked #130 in the latest update of the WTA Rankings.

While she was away from the action on court, Bouchard engaged herself in various activities off it. Recently, she took part in a uniform launch for a new low-cost Canadian airline carrier called Flair Airlines.
Although the former World No. 5 won’t take part at the US Open, she will be a studio analyst for Tennis Channel. Hence, ahead of the hard court Grand Slam, Bouchard engaged with her fans through a Q&A on Instagram.

When asked what her favorite food was, the 27-year-old replied not by saying, but displaying her love for pizza. Along with the picture, she also put three emoticons of a slice of pizza.

Bouchard picks Joe’s over Blaze Pizza
The Canadian, who resides in Las Vegas, also received a question on New York’s pizza culture. When asked for an opinion on the modern Blaze Pizza, the Canadian replied, “Nothing like Joe’s baby!”

Along with her favorite food, the Canadian also revealed she looks to return to tennis in the early part of 2022.
