World Number nine Serena Williams will be celebrating her third Mother’s Day, as a mother, this Sunday. But this year, Williams and her two-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia, will be staying indoors to celebrate it while also following the home-quarantine.

To mark the occasion of Mothers’ Day, Serena featured in the Mom Strong campaign by Secret deodorant. Olympic Gold medalist Swim Cash was part of the project as well.

“For the moms who taught us never sweat our critics,” Williams said in the ad. “To every woman who has had a child, lost a child, adopted a child, raised a child, or raised one up, you teach us what not to sweat so we can show the world our strength.” Williams’ first mothers’ day came in the year 2018, and she celebrated with her eight-month-old daughter Olympia.

Recently, she was declared the global spokeswoman of the luxury shoe brand, Stuart Weitzman. She will feature in their 2020 ad campaign, which holds a chief focus on ‘women as pillars of hope.’

The American ace has absolutely been enjoying the unusual break from tennis. Presently, she’s spending quality time with her family and giving also giving baking lessons to her daughter.

Serena Williams is one of the few mothers on the tour who’s busy raising the bar of achievements. However, 23-time Grand Slam champion Williams is yet to pull off her first Major title as a mother. In the upcoming years, if she does, Serena will the fourth mother on the WTA Tour, besides Evonne Goolagong, Margaret Court, and Kim Clijsters to pull off a Slam.

On the WTA circuit, Williams won her first title as a mother in Auckland in January 2020. That title also marked the end of her title-less streak since 2017. Later, at the Australian Open 2020, she was upset in the third round, losing to China’s Qiang Wang.
