Serena Williams’ philanthropies

World Number eight, Serena Williams is most famous for her exhilarating tennis accomplishments but, besides that, she’s also an unparalleled philanthropist. When the coronavirus pandemic struck, her ‘S By Serena’ donated around 45K masks in the USA.

With the medium of her jewelry brand, Williams will be donating all the funds to Opportunity Fund’s Small Business Relief Fund, which will be generated by selling the ‘Unstoppable’ collection of her jewelry.

“We thought a lot about which single, meaningful word would energize us most right now…we chose “unstoppable” because it’s so optimistic and strong—and who doesn’t need that kind of inspiration?” she posted on Instagram.

When Williams was in her prime and she was ‘unstoppable’ during the years of 2014 and 2015, she pulled off all the Grand Slams wearing the same necklace as her lucky charm. That inspired her to come with ‘Unstoppable Toggle Necklace’ collection at SWJ. The design, too, is similar to the one she wore while clinching those Major titles.
