The Australian Open has been a very special event for American star Serena Williams. She has won it seven times and has rarely ever missed playing it throughout her 25-year professional career.

Clearly, Serena has been to Australia many times throughout her career, and in a recent interview, she was asked whether she has taken to Australian food like the kangaroo. To this, she replied, “I would never, I could never. Those little guys are so cute. So no, I keep it simple, lots of other things but not that.”

Australia has not influenced Serena’s food, but has it influenced the way she speaks? In response to this, the American star said, “I feel like my accent could be offensive, so I try not to do it.”
