Former World Number three Grigor Dimitrov ended his Australian Open 2020 tour in the second round of the tournament. The 18th seed played a marathon five-set match against USA’s Tommy Paul and lost 6-4, 7-6(8), 3-6, 6-7(3), 7-6(10-3). More than his tennis, Dimitorv’s peculiar spotted two-piece tracksuit has caught many eyes in Melbourne. The 28-year-old posted his picture with him wearing that tracksuit and the American legend Serena Williams commented, “Ummm… Is that mine?” She was referring to the outfit which Dimitrov was wearing.

“I don’t want to be vanilla” – Grigor Dimitrov
The Bulgarian wanted to try something different and his love for colors drove him to wear something unusual for the Happy Slam. “I think the outfit is fun. I don’t want to be vanilla. I actually love it. I love the colors. I love experimenting as well and when (I’m) out there, I don’t really think that much of the outfit. I already had a couple of friends who were like, ‘(We) knew you were going to wear it before, we weren’t sure you were going to wear the whole thing,’” he expressed his choice.

American World Number eight Serena Williams won 6-2, 6-3 against Tamara Zidansek in the second round of Aussie Open. The scoreline depicts that it was a straight forward match, but in the second set, it was an uphill battle for Serena.
At 3-2, Zidansek had several chances to take a 4-2 lead as the American produced a string of unforced errors. With Zidansek, failing to capitalize on her break points against Williams, the former champion held her serve at 3-3.
“I made so many errors in a row and had to battle through my own internal problems,” said Williams. “I knew I had to play better and couldn’t keep making unforced errors like that, otherwise it was going to be a long evening for me.”
