You saw guys yelling everywhere.” McEnroe further explained how his Irish parents and he often used to raise voices at the dinner table. Additionally, McEnroe said, “Then, all of a sudden, I go to Wimbledon and they?re so polite, so quiet, they want to do things a certain way.”

The ‘Superbrat’ felt really bizarre and shocked by witnessing the foreign culture. He further added, “I didn?t understand why people cared. I found it funny the first year. It became less amusing as time passed and I realised they were after me.”

McEnroe was overjoyed with the 2022 Laver cup success
