During an exclusive interview, the ‘Bad Boy’ opened up his bottled feelings. He said,” I grew up in New York where there?s this intense energy. You saw guys yelling everywhere.” McEnroe further explained how his Irish parents and he often used to raise voices at the dinner table. Additionally, McEnroe said, “Then, all of a sudden, I go to Wimbledon and they?re so polite, so quiet, they want to do things a certain way.”

The ‘Superbrat’ felt really bizarre and shocked by witnessing the foreign culture. He further added, “I didn?t understand why people cared. I found it funny the first year. It became less amusing as time passed and I realised they were after me.”
