Especially now that Zendaya and the producers have referenced one of the most controversial personalities of the last few decades in the movie. Zendaya and the T-shirt she wore in a Scene
In one of the scenes from the film, there is a reference to John Fitzgerald Kennedy Junior, the famous lawyer and the son of 35th U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The t-shirt she wore had the words, “I told ya.” These were the exact quotes from a t-shirt that Kennedy Jr. had worn decades ago. In the movie, Zendaya is playing a character of a tennis player.

The trailer released revolves around the life of a tennis player and her relationships, which have a very controversial storyline. The director, Luca Guadagnino, didn’t mention any reference to a real story.

Both Father and Son attained great fame in their respective fields. However, both of them died tragically. President Kennedy was shot to death from point-blank range, while Kennedy Jr. died in an aeroplane crash that landed right in the Atlantic Ocean at Marthas’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Both events shook the entire country to its core. There were mentions of the incident in the movie “The Irishman” as well.
All this could be the reason for the curiosity fuming among people about the release. The movie is set for release in mid-September, and it looks like it will be one hell of a watch. Zendaya recently has been delivering good content for the viewers, her recent HBO original series also was critically acclaimed.
Recently Zendaya featured in “Euphoria” which had a pretty dark side of teen life in the U.S. The story revolves around an addict who is trying to survive and recover from her addiction. The movie takes you back to the college days and pretty much the dark phase of it.
As for Challengers, it will be interesting to see how a connection is established between the main protagonist and Kennedy Jr. Can’t wait to watch it, can you?
