Miami Open: The Path to Victory for the Top 4 Seeds
As the first seed, Daniil Medvedev has a pretty tough road ahead of him at the Miami Open. In the quarter-finals, he has the chance to meet Felix Auger-Aliasimme and in addition to that, he can face Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals. Clearly, he will have to work a lot to win his 4th Masters 1000 title.
Moving onto second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, he has an even tougher draw ahead of him. In the second round, he can face Kevin Anderson. In addition to that, he can face Alex De Minaur in the quarter-finals and Aslan Karatsev or Andrey Rublev in the semis. It’s definitely not going to be easy for the Greek star to win his first Masters title.
Next, as the number 3 seed is Alexander Zverev. Apart from Medvedev, he only has to worry about Karen Khachanov or Jannik Sinner in the 4th round. The latter beat him last year at the French Open and could pose a threat to him. He will have to be ready to face both of them.
Lastly, we have Andrey Rublev as the fourth seed. Apart from Tsitsipas, he has to worry about Christian Garin in the quarter-finals and Denis Shapovalov in the semi-finals.
