“Stefanos Tsitsipas would cry in a press conference” – Mouratoglou
For instance, he couldn’t accept his round one loss at Wimbledon 2019 and broke into tears right after his loss. Also after playing a rollercoaster match against Stan Wawrinka in the quarters of French Open 2019 Stefanos was lamenting in the press conference room. All these emotions simply portray his profound love for the game and his peerless passion for his profession.
“He’s created his world and I love that he is extremely open with his emotions. He’s the type of guy who would cry in a press conference because he lost a match and he is completely OK with that,” he added.
“Some people think he shouldn’t cry, I think it is great. Share with the people [how you feel]. He’s so passionate and it is so important to him to win, he’s ambitious and he shows it.”
