It was surely one of the most difficult times for the former Chilean player. He sounded anxious and worried in his tweet. However, he informed everyone that he was fine and thanked them for their good wishes.

The news surely would have created tremors in the minds of anyone. The coach also described how the authorities locked them up in a restaurant as a part of the precautionary measures.

On the other hand, Massu has a lot of work to do with Thiem on the court. The Austrian failed to defend his title at his home this time after getting eliminated by Diego Schwartzman in the quarters of the French Open 2020 some weeks back. After winning the US Open 2020, Thiem has not looked to be in great touch. He and Massu would definitely work on his gameplay so that the Austrian would be able to perform consistently well in the big matches.
