Tekken 7 Receives ‘Major Balance Overhaul’ With Season 4

With the upcoming Season 4, Bandai Namco Entertainment has promised some very exciting changes in Tekken 7. Apart from a new character and costumes, the game will receive a ‘major balance overhaul’. The developers recently released the trailer for the upcoming season and it has the fans excited.

Kunimitsu’s daughter is the new character coming in Tekken 7. Kunimitsu previously appeared in Tekken and Tekken 2 as an unlockable character. However, her daughter is returning in Tekken 7 as a Manji Ninja Arts fighter. Just like her mother, she wears a fox mask.

The new character will have three unique costume sets, the Regular Set, Urban Ninja Set, and a Tenko Set.  Also, a new stage named ‘Vermillion Gates’ will be available with Season 4.

Apart from the changes, the biggest highlight in the launch trailer is the ‘major balance overhaul’.

Tekken 7 introduces new moves for each character

For the past few months, players have been complaining about the unbalanced characters in Tekken 7. Apparently, certain characters in the game are over-powered, and that has severely affected the game meta. However, the developers have finally recognized the dilemma of the players.

As a result, each character will now have new moves and players have to learn them to assert dominance on the battlefield.

Changes in the user interface

The upcoming season will also change Tekken 7’s user interface, primarily the main menu and health gauge.

Owing to COVID-19 pandemic, online gaming has become more prevalent than ever. To avoid server lags, Tekken 7 developers have specifically worked on the rollback feature in the game. With season 4, this feature will work more efficiently and online play in the game will be better than ever.

The developers have also made some changes to the game’s ranking system. The highest rank in Tekken 7  is now ‘Tekken God Omega’.

Lastly, players can now see their Tekken ability with the help of the ‘Tekken Prowess’ feature.

Tekken 7’s season 4 certainly looks promising. It not only adds a lot of new things to the game but significantly improves upon the existing shortcomings. The new season rolls out on November 10.
