Who is Cloud 9 Tenz?
Tyson ‘Tenz’ Ngo was a former Counter-Strike Global Offensive player who switched to Valorant earlier in the year. What originally seemed like a poor decision turned out the best one for the young prodigy. Quickly climbing up in popularity and rank, Tenz is now regarded as the best Valorant player in the world.
Sometime in April, Cloud 9 had announced that they would be interested in building a team around Tenz. Ever since then, Tyson has not looked back, still ranking as the best player in the NA region. He has also broken into the top 100 leaderboards with both his accounts.
Tenz is a young superstar in the making that is just waiting for his chance.

Team Shroud
We don’t really have to give an introduction for Shroud. He is one pioneer of the North America eSport, along with being one of the most successful streamers of the world. Shroud recently participated in a charity tournament of Twitch Rivals with a team of Jordan Fisher, T1’s Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham, 100T’s Josh ‘steel’ Nissan, and Iridium.
What happened in the game between them?
The event pitted team Shroud against the Cloud9 roster. Although it was just a friendly game of spike rush on the Icebox map, it was still a wholesome sight to see Shroud holding his own ground against one of the best teams in the world.

In the first three rounds, the match seemed quite one-sided, as Tenz swiftly killed 4 people in the second round, following it up as Mich secured an ace in the third. But team Shroud would not be the one to bow out so easily, as Iridium fired right back in the fourth, scoring 4 kills on his Reyna and securing the round.
Shroud followed that with a clutch in the next one with 3 kills. But that was the extent of their success as Cloud 9 swept the 5th round, winning them the map with a scoreline of 4-2.
