Tampa Bay Buccaneers dealt with a huge blow; Star Pass Rusher doubtful for playoffs

Last night, NFL insider and reliable journalist Ian Rapoport broke a very important Tampa Bay injury update. The reporter revealed a sprained ACL and ACL to Tampa Bay Star and Pro Bowl nominee Shaq Barrett.

“#Bucs coach Bruce Arians tells reporters that pass-rusher Shaq Barrett has a sprained MCL and ACL, is out the next two games, but the team is hopefully he’ll be back for the playoffs,” tweeted the ever-reliable Rapoport.

Barrett’s injury adds more trouble for the Bucs as he joins running back Leonard Fournette, linebacker Lavonte David, wide receiver Mike Evans, and edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul in a bid to get healthy before the playoffs.

Tom Brady’s absurd New Year’s Resolution

Marred with injuries at the late end of the campaign and the red hot form of Aaron Rodgers & co, it’s safe to say that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season. However, no challenge has ever stopped Tom Brady & co, as they showed last season.

Not only is the GOAT confident of winning the Super Bowl, but he also has set a New Year’s resolution based on the win. “I do think what I’d like to do is complete an overhand toss with the Lombardi Trophy,” Brady told host Jim Gray on his weekly Let’s Go! podcast.

Yes, you read it right. Just like he tossed the trophy from one boat to another last time, the QB wants to do it once again but with a proper plan. “None of this Patrick Mahomes underhand throw that he always does. I’ve got to complete one overhand Lombardi Trophy toss in a boat parade. That would be a great way to get a new year started right,” revealed the GOAT.
