Spanish football manager Unai Emery is currently leading the Arsenal team. He too started off his career as a player, but rarely broke into the big leagues. His playing position was in the left midfield.
However, he soon retired and elected to take up being a manager. His very first managed team was Lorca Deportiva, the last team he played for. Then, in 2007, he moved to Almeria and helped them earn a promotion into La Liga.
A year later, he moved to Valencia CF and helped them climb up to 6th place. Then in 2009-10, they improved their position even further with a 3rd place in La Liga. Finally, at the end of the 2011-12 season Emery left the club after guiding them to another 3rd.

In 2016, Unai Emery penned a 2-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain, in place of Laurent Blance. That year, he helped PSG enter the Round of 16 of the Champions League and thrash Barcelona 4-0 at home. Unfortunately, Barca pulled off the best comeback ever to crush PSG 6-1.
Finally, in 2018, he left PSG and joined Arsenal after Arsene Wenger left the club.
Achievements
In terms of achievements, Unai Emery guided Sevilla to three UEFA Europa League titles. With PSG, he bagged the Ligue 1 title in 2017-18, and with Arsenal, he helped them to a Europa League runners up spot.
