Belal Muhammad has been on a spectacular nine-fight winning streak. The Chicago, Illinois native has been calling out Leon Edwards for a while now but there was hardly any response from the champion. After multiple attempts to get his well-deserved title shot, Dana White finally announced the card in May. Well, it was known that the UFC was returning to Manchester way before UFC 300 as the CEO himself promised it.
However, the card was completely unknown. Well, just when Muhammad left all hopes for a title reign, White came forward to call him for the title shot. Their fight might prove to be a good one considering that their rivalry is old and this will be their second clash. Well, ahead of their fated clash, let us have a look at the full card.

Co-main event of UFC 304: Edwards vs. Muhammad - Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes
The co-main event is a bit of a special as this would witness the second interim title defense in the UFC after Randy Couture defended his interim UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against Vitor Belfort back at UFC 49 on August 21, 2004. Tom Aspinall became the interim heavyweight champion of the UFC by defeating Sergei Pavlovich back in UFC 295, however, he has not received his title fight as promised by the UFC supremo. So the next thing that's happening in ASpinall's career is his title defense against his former opponent Curtis Blaydes.
Yes, you heard that right, Tom Aspinall has already locked his horns against Blaydes back in UFC's comeback to London at UFC fight night back on July 23, 2022. Aspinall was rather a newcomer then and he had to taste defeat for the third time of his professional journey. However, things are a bit changed right now as the Englishman has increased his skillset tremendously. Will he be able to stop the 'Razor' train? Time will tell.
Main event of UFC 304: Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad
Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad's rivalry was supposed to end at their first encounter back in UFC fight night, in Nevada on March 13, 2021. Both of the individuals headlined the event. The fight was going smoothly, however, during the second round, an accidental eye poke from Edwards drastically injured Muhammad, and the fight had to be stopped immediately.
Three years have passed since that incident and both Edwards as well as Muhammad are back again to finish what started in 2021. Well, Muhammad has been training with Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov for his first title fight. 'Remember the name' is looking to clinch the victory but according to Edwards, the fight is nothing but easy.
While having a conversation with the MMAHour, Edwards said, "One hundred percent, the guy has been a nuisance on social media for the longest. So 100 percent. I’ve been trying to fight Belal now for a while. I got asked for [UFC] 300, I said yes to everyone. Three opponents, said yes. I even said, ‘What about Belal?’ And they were like, ‘No. [Laughs.]’ It wasn’t an option. I was like, I’ll fight whoever because I know the card is such a huge card."
