Rick Yutaka Fowler, popularly known as Rickie Fowler, is an American professional golfer. Born on December 13, 1988, in Murrieta, California, Rod Fowler, owner of a trucking company, and Lynn Fowler. He also has a sister, Taylor. Similar to Rickie, everyone in his family is an athlete. His parents often participate in bike riding games, and his mother has also won a 24-hour mountain bike race as part of a five-woman team. His father was a motocross racer who took his son with him often. And finally, his sister was also a golf player back in college. His middle name comes from his maternal grandfather, who is of Japanese ethnicity.
Fowler picked up the sport because of his grandfather and started his golf journey at the age of 3 but later learned more about it by himself by practicing only on a driving range. After showing promise in high school, Fowler joined Oklahoma State University in 2017, where he became a star with the Cowboys.

UC Berkeley was the university of choice for Stokke, where she pursued a successful college career as a pole vaulter as she was a part of her university's track and field team. Stokke went on to break the freshman record in 2008 and also bagged the eighth position at the PAC 10 championships. The golfer's family grew in 2021 as the couple welcomed their daughter, Maya Fowler, on November 18, 2021. His career started picking up the pace and in 2014, Fowler had one of his best runs at the Majors and managed to finish within the top 5 in all four tournaments.
