Gragson was the longest-serving mayor of Las Vegas, after having held office from 1959 to 1975. As for the racer's parents, not much is known about his mother. On the other hand, his father grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was then sentenced to 20 years in prison and paid $21 million as part of a partial settlement with the deceased's family.

The 25-year-old driver seems to be single. Or at least, that's what his social media updates indicate. While Gragson seemed to be a fan of US alpine ski racer, Lindsay Vonn, and on several occasions, tried to get her attention with multiple X shoutouts, it seems Vonn wasn't too interested in the then 19-year-old boy.

Noah Gragson Net Worth 2024

Although the racer is in the second full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series, he has garnered quite a significant amount of wealth. Some reports suggest that the driver is worth a staggering $23.5 million, which might seem like stretch, but given his family background, doesn't seem too unrealistic either. On the other hand, other sources also say that, in 2019, his net worth was $3 million. It seems we'll have to ask Noah Gragson himself for some insight into his financial position.

His Stewart-Haas Racing salary is currently under wraps but his participation and wins in a varied numbers of events including the Super Late Models tour, Xfinity and Truck Series, and ARCA Menards series, must have contributed significantly to his wealth.

In the same year, he also joined the ARCA Series and later the Truck Series in 2016. In his first full-time season in 2017 in NASCAR's third division, he finished 10th in the points standings, picking up a win at Martinsville. The next year, he climbed even higher and finished second.

Having joined the Xfinity Series part-time in 2018, he transitioned to full-time the next year with Dale Earnhardt Jr-owned JR Motorsports and finished 8th in his debut year. He stayed in the tourney for three more seasons finishing P5, P3 and P2 in 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Finally, his moment to shine arrived when he joined the ranks of the Cup Series full-time in 2023, with seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson-owned Legacy Motor Club. As of the 2024 season, he is being backed Stewart-Haas Racing.

Noah Gragson Controversies

While his performance have helped him grabbed headlines, there were a also a few other happenings that made him the center of attention. Case in point, his pit-road altercation with Trackhouse Racing star Ross Chastain.

The incident unfolded in the aftermath of the Kansas Speedway race in May 2o23. The duo were reportedly at loggerheads against each other's driving styles, which led to a physical altercation on pit road with Chastain delivering the first blow after Gragson grabbed the #1 driver's firesuit. Later, Gragson talked about the driver and said, "The guy just runs into everyone. When you’ve got guys like Chase Elliott saying, ‘Go beat his a*s,’ everyone is sick and tired of him and nobody has the b*lls to go up and get him.”

However, the Trackhouse Racing driver later cleared the air and declared how there was no bad blood between the two anymore"So we are good and talked on Monday on the phone. And then we were together testing some micro-sprint cars on Monday night. We worked out together this week. It’s good, done and over with, and we have been able to move on and laugh about it now,”  he said.

However, this was not the end as 2023 proved to be a difficult year for Gragson. Coming into his first full-time Cup season with Legacy Motor Club, the driver received a fatal blow after competing in just 21 races as Gragson was suspended by Legacy Motor Club, in August that year, for liking a social media meme that mocked George Floyd's murder, violating NASCAR's conduct rules. He was also suspended indefinitely by NASCAR.

Later, repenting his behavior, the driver also posted a public apology, writing, "I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media. I understand the severity of this situation. I love and appreciate everyone. I try to treat everyone equally no matter who they are. I messed up plain and simple."

The racer was later reinstated by the stock car racing organization that following September, after undergoing a sensitivity training program. "I want to express my sincere gratitude to NASCAR for reinstating me," Gragson said in a statement. "Over the past several weeks, I have dedicated myself to personal growth and reflection, and I believe I have become a better person because of it. I couldn't have done it without the support of my family and the NASCAR industry," he said at the time.

Noah Gragson joins Stewart-Haas Racing

Ahead of the 2024 season, Noah Gragson joined Tony Stewart and Gene Haas-owner Stewart Haas Racing on a multi-year contract. He took over the No.10 car previously driven by then retiring driver Aric Almirola. This new move was like a lease of life for the young driver, who was perhaps at the verge of his NASCAR aspirations getting over. And even the racer realized that, as he expressed his gratitude after the induction.

“I race to win and winning at the Cup level is what I’ve been working toward since I started racing Bandoleros as a 13-year-old at the Bullring in Las Vegas. To be with an established team with a history of winning is what every driver wants. I’ve got exactly that here at Stewart-Haas and I aim to make the most of it,” Gragson said, as per a press release.

“Stewart-Haas is filled with racers and I saw that and felt it as soon as I walked onto the shop floor. There are high expectations here and a strong desire to compete and win races. I have high expectations for myself and I want to deliver for Tony and Gene and everyone at Stewart-Haas,” he further stated.

Owner Tony Stewart also gave his driver the much-needed support as he publicly appreciated the driver. “Noah deserves to be in the Nascar Cup Series and we’re very happy to have him as the driver of our No. 10 Ford Mustang. Noah has performed at every level where he’s competed and has regularly been in championship contention. That’s the kind of driver we need at Stewart-Haas and that’s why Noah is a part of our team,” the team owner said in a statement.
