Josh Berry Net Worth 2024
In his racing career, Berry has done well in late-model racing and the CARS Tour. In fact, his major earnings have come from there and it is bound to get better as he joined Stewart-Haas Racing to compete in the Cup Series this year. Currently, as per FreshersLive, his net worth is estimated to be around $5 million.
At this point in time, his salary with JR Motorsports remains unknown. Without a doubt, various endorsement deals and the wealth amassed from racing play a big role in his annual income.
Josh Berry’s Career Timeline
At the age of eight, Josh Berry kick-started his racing career by participating in the Tennessee Karting Association. After spending a number of seasons racing go-karts, he along with his father decided to move to U.S. Legend Cars in 2006. It was in 2010 that he was asked by JR Motorsports co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr to join the JRM Late Model program.
Without hesitating, Berry went ahead with the prospect and within a year was named Late Model Most Popular Driver by Speed51.com. Ultimately, it was in 2014 that he made his NASCAR debut in the Xfinity Series at Iowa Speedway. The following year, he had a couple of top-10 finishes. However, it was in 2016 that he performed very impressively. In 24 starts then, he registered 14 victories and additional seven top-five finishes.
He also made two starts in the ARCA Racing Series in 2018, finishing P4 and P3, at Salem Speedway and New Hampshire respectively.
Berry joined JRM full time in 2022 after spending a partial season in 2021. Over the years, he has competed in the Truck Series, although not as frequently as in the Xfinity Series. As far as the Cup Series is concerned, the 32-year-old made his debut at Dover International Speedway in 2021 when he substituted for Justin Haley in the Spire Motorsports #77 car.
Haley was sidelined due to Covid-19 protocols then. His second appearance in the Cup Series happened because of a similar scenario. This time it was Corey LaJoie who was sidelined due to the pandemic protocols in 2022. However, Berry's major breakthrough came last year.
In the 2023 campaign, Berry was presented with the opportunity to replace the injured Chase Elliott and race for Hendrick Motorsports. After Elliott's return, Josh Berry found another chance to represent HMS with Alex Bowman suffering from a back injury.
Things have only gotten better for him as he joined for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Cup Series as retired 2014-Cup Series champion, Kevin Harvick's successor. There will be certainly a lot of pressure on him given how he will be replacing the legendary racer.

Over the years, Berry has been associated with a number of sponsors and endorsement deals. In December last year, Jarrett Companies were confirmed as primary sponsors for Josh Berry for six races in 2023. Just a month earlier, Tire Pros confirmed their sponsorship for nine races in 2023. How is Josh Berry related to Dale Earnhardt Jr?
It is no secret how Josh Berry and Dale Earnhardt Jr share a special bond. Interestingly, the two met when they were competing in an online sim racing league called DMP Online Racing. It hardly took them to become friends. As Berry spoke to The Tennessean, he said, "Dale asked me what I was doing, what I wanted to do, what my goals were in my life, with my career.? We just became friends."
With time, their friendship grew stronger as Berry made it to JR Motorsports as a late-model stock car driver. In fact, he couldn't have been in more awe of their bond.
