Joe Burrow is a 25-year-old NFL quarterback who was born on 10th December 1996. His father, Jim Burrow, is a former defensive back who played for the Green Bay Packers for one season. Later, he moved North to the CFL.

Living up to pre-draft expectations, the Cincinnati Bengals made Burrow the top draft pick at the 2020 NFL draft. Before the maiden virtual NFL draft, the Bengals President Mike Brown welcomed the rookie by sending him a No.9 Cincinnati Bengals Jersey. Joe Burrow was the only rookie QB from his class to start on opening week. Additionally, he was the third consecutive Heisman-winning quarterback to be selected first overall following Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.

In his 2020 debut, Burrow threw for 193 passing yards and an interception, while adding 46 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Burrow threw his first career passing touchdown in a loss where he attempted 61 passes, completing 37 of them for 316 yards and three touchdowns.

However, in a game against the Washington Football team in week 11,  Burrow was placed on injured reserve. He was hit while throwing a pass and tore his ACL, MCL, PCL, and meniscus.
