English player Jesse Lingard has been a Red Devil for almost his entire footballing career. The 26-year old joined the youth academy at the age of 7 before moving up the ranks rapidly. It was only during the 2011 season that he finally broke into the Manchester United squad. However, he only made it as far as the reserves bench on a number of occasions, as Sir Alex Ferguson left him out.
A year later, he was loaned off to Leicester City, along with Michael Keane in order to get more playing time. In all, he made a grand total of five appearances for Leicester until January 2013.
After his loan spell, Jesse Lingard was recalled and included in United?s pre-season tour and finally played his first game for them, under David Moyes. Lingard went on to finish as top scorer in the tour, but it wasn?t enough to remain with the Red Devils, being loaned out yet again.
This time, he was in Birmingham, where he thrived. During a Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday, he scored a hat-trick within the span of 13 minutes. After his Birmingham stint, he was recalled, and carted off almost immediately to Brighton and Hove Albion.
In the 2014-15 season, Lingard was subbed onto the field and helped United defeat Liverpool 3-1 during the International Champions Cup Final. Finally, he reunited with Manchester United and not loaned off to another team in 2015. He would remain with the United squad for the team of his career up till the current season, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 26-year old has also scored four goals in an England jersey, with all four coming in 2018 and one of them during the World Cup. During his time in Manchester United, Jesse Lingard has helped the team to the 2015-16 FA Cup, 2016,17 EFL Cup, the 2016 FA Community Shield and the 2016-17 Europa League championships.
