Jack Draper was born in Sutton, London, on 22 December 2001. He was raised in adjacent Ashtead. His father, Roger Draper, is the former CEO of Sport England and the Lawn Tennis Association, and his mother, Nicky Draper, is a former junior British Tennis Champion who later became a coach.
Draper attended Parkside School in Stoke d’Abernon, Cobham from the ages of four to eleven. He was coached by Justin Sherring. Jack’s brother, Ben, played college tennis at the University of California-Berkeley and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Wake Forest.
