The world of wrestling has become a better place once 'Hangman' Adam Page walked into the business. Page has competed all around the world before becoming a global phenomenon in All Elite Wrestling.
The youngster is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in AEW and has wrestled all across the world. He has wrestled in New Japan, Ring of Honor, PWG and has now settled in AEW.
'Hangman' Adam Page made his debut in 2008 on the independent scene and earned his stripes for three years before ROH noticed him. In debuted in the promotion in 2011, wrestling stars like Matt Taven, ACH, Silas Young, and Jimmy Jacobs.
In 2016, Page turned on his partner Colt Cabana and joined the Bullet Club. This was a turning point in the career of Hangman Page, making him one of the best prospects in the company. Page's career seemed to take a turn for the better once he took to drinking. He then became the lovable drunk cowboy, and it led to him becoming one-half of the AEW Tag Team Champions alongside Kenny Omega.
Page started to have a bit of argument with the Young Bucks and Omega. Eventually, Page was removed from the Elite by the Young Bucks on an episode of Dynamite, after he had stopped them from winning their match. At the All Out PPV, Page and Omega lost the tag team championship to FTR hence ending their reigns of 228 days.
After wobbling in the mid-card for the majority of the year, Page rekindled his rivalry with Omega and the Young Bucks. During this time, Page sided with The Dark Order and feuded with Omega, the Young Bucks, and the Good Brothers.?
Eventually, Page took some time off wrestling and went to tend his wife who was expecting a baby. After his paternity leave, ?Hangman? made his unexpected return at the second-anniversary episode of Dynamite and entered herself in the seven-man Casino Ladder Match which he eventually won and became the #1 contender to the AEW World Championship.
After winning the ladder match, Page focused on Kenny Omega and eventually beat ?The Cleaner? at the Full Gear PPV to win his first AEW World Champion.
Since winning the championship, Page has successfully defended his title against Bryan Danielson and Lance Archer. Currently, he is in a storyline with the former NXT World Champion, Adam Cole.
