Cameron Brink's early life

Her parents worked at Nike, owing to which she lived from eight to roughly eleven years of age in the Netherlands, and returned to the United States before starting sixth grade.

Originally, Brink preferred art over sports but eventually developed an interest in volleyball after watching the 2012 Summer Olympics. It was a camp held by her godfather, Dell Curry, when her family was visiting them in Charlotte, North Carolina that Cameron Brink first played basketball. When she returned to Amsterdam, Brink joined her school’s team as the youngest player. A year later, the Brink family moved back to the States, to Oregon specifically, where she joined a basketball club.
