Monfils has been excited all along with the build-up to his wedding. Even yesterday, he posted a picture of himself and Elina and put up a caption that stated, “Last Day as my fiance.” The Ukrainian star complimented the post by putting up one herself, which stated, “Last post as Miss Svitolina.”

Coming on to tennis, both players were most recently seen at the Wimbledon Championships. They underperformed as they failed to make it to the second week. Prior to that, they were seen at the French Open. The local boy lost in the second round, whereas his fiance lost in the third round.

They began their season in Australia. Unfortunately, Gael lost in the opening round and Elina did have a good run until the fourth round when she exited the event.

Now that the couple is getting hitched, we wish them all the best. However, it will be interesting to see how they perform for the remainder of the season. They should be expected to return for the US Open Series.
