Nintendo is surely starting off its new year with a blast. A few days ago, the iconic video game label revealed that it has acquired the Vancouver-based developer Next Level Games Inc. Recently, the official website for the Super Nintendo World theme park went live as well!
The theme park is probably one of the greatest news that Nintendo has been sitting on for quite a while. Finally, the theme park at Universal Studios Japan will be ready to accept visitors from next month. The official website has already listed the details of the rides and the prices of tickets.

Super Nintendo World will be a dream come true for many people. Apart from the attractive rides, the official website says that “The whole land is your playground”. The theme park will have a lot of interactive activities. For instance, you can gather your friends and take on Bowser Jr. at his lair!

What awaits you at the Super Nintendo World theme park
As for rides, the website has already provided details, including ticket prices. The first one on the list brings one of the most legendary titles from the video game icons to life: a real-life Mario Kart race! The official description for the ride reads:
“Race your way to victory! Iconic Mario Kart courses have been brought to life with cutting-edge technology. Challenge enemies with shells! Aim for the finish line with Mario and Peach! The world’s first interactive Mario Kart theme park ride will leave you with a rush of adrenaline!”
The official website has specified the ride requirements as well. The ride approximately goes on for 5 minutes and the Karts have a capacity of 4 people (2 rows, 2 people per row).
Height requirements for the ride are as follows:

- Height requirements for unaccompanied riders: at least 122 cm tall
- Height requirement for riders with a supervising companion: at least 107 cm tall
Furthermore, the park has yet another fun 5-minute ride, known as ‘Yoshi’s Adventure’. This one sets you off on a quest to search for Captain Toad on a treasure hunt. As an added bonus, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Mushroom Kingdom from Mount Beanpole while on this ride!
