The Lamar Jackson conundrum is causing a lot of debates and all have contrasting opinions on it. So how could the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ remain untouched from the debate? The topic came up with one of the co-hosts who stated “It’s not gonna happen. He’s not gonna get paid. That’s where I’m at now, unfortunately,” he told all the others on the show.

Former Green Bay Packers linebacker AJ Hawk almost instantly agreed with him. The 2011 Super Bowl champion doesn’t agree with anyone saying that Jackson will ever meet the expectations he has set for himself regarding the contract extension.

“If they haven’t done it till now,” Hawk said about the situation.

Jackson is out of contract and reportedly wants a ‘big money’ contract, akin to what Deshaun Watson got at the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens have put on a franchise tag on him as they continue to negotiate with him. but the negotiations seem to be going nowhere at the moment.

The Ravens QB problem

According to several reports, Lamar Jackson wants the Ravens to give him a huge fully guaranteed contract. But the Ravens have some apprehension about him and that probably stops them to oblige his contract demand. The QB missed a large chunk of the games for the Ravens in the last two years, including their playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
