When Call of Duty: Warzone released last year, fans had a lot of excitement with a new Battle Royale title from Activision. For months, fans loved the experience provided by the developers as it separated itself from the other titles of the genre. However, since then, the community’s entertainment and joy has massively dipped following the rampant cheating in the game.

Recently, the community berated the developers for not fixing the hacking issues in the game. Along with that, they have not even acknowledged these complaints provided by the fans who play it regularly. This has caused many of them to leave and look for other options, including the popular content creators who played it on their channel almost every day.

Streamers quitting Call of Duty: Warzone for other titles like Apex Legends

Fans have wanted a rational response from the developers about the hacking situation in Warzone for a long time. However, the developers at Raven Software have rarely done anything about it other than some random ban waves that do nothing. This has caused everyone to give up hope of seeing any improvements in one of the biggest Battle Royale titles in the world.

Many of them have already left, including the streamers who popularized the title. Dr Disrespect has raged at the game multiple times, and even uninstalled it. He was even willing to try Apex Legends, even though he wasn’t the best in the game. Creators like Vikkstar123, Courage, Nickmercs and many others have also quit playing it because they don’t like the current experience.

Situation will worsen with no solution provided by the developers

Currently, the developers have revealed no plans or solutions for the hackers in the popular Call of Duty title. Many believe that this could be its downfall, as other Battle Royale titles don’t have a massive problem like this. Titles like Apex Legends and Fortnite don’t suffer with rampant cheating like in Warzone. Players also believe that it could get worse for Activision with the release of the upcoming FPS games. This includes Halo: Infinite and also Battlefield 2042, which will compete with Call of Duty: Warzone in the FPS genre.
