Is Joel Embiid Leaving Philadelphia? Moments After “Somewhere Else” Comment Caused Havoc, $213,000,000 76ers Star Comes Clean on the Cryptic Message

The Philadelphia 76ers are in a tumult because to James Harden. Although the administration was adamant on retaining him on the team, he wouldn't budge. Despite having tremendous pick-and-roll chemistry with centre Joel Embiid, this continues. The 76ers fell to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in seven games, but Embiid and Harden have boundless potential. A championship expectation is normal after earning the MVP, and in addition to Harden, the Centre is also in win-now mindset.

Joel Embiid only adds to the confusion

Since 2009, Joel Embiid has played with the Philadelphia 76ers. He has witnessed them during a time when they were among the league's poorest clubs. He adopted the maxim "Trust the Process" from the late GM Sam Hinkie. Something that he has made clear time and time again, and even his Twitter bio refers to "processing."  However, “The Process” is yet to take the team past even the Eastern SemiFinals in the last six seasons when they have hit the Postseason.

The Centre recently told Maverick Carter in an interview that he wanted to win a championship. Whether it takes place in Philadelphia or elsewhere is irrelevant.

Is he really trolling?

Embiid insists he wasn't serious when he said the things, but is that truly the case? The desire to leave the 76ers during the James Harden trade saga is not unlikely given that he is in the peak of his career and that they have been a long way from winning the NBA title. Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard have emerged as two prominent examples of these goals.
