Gabrielle Union doesn’t care about what others think of her

The actress spoke out to editor Jasmine Fox-Sulieman of WHO WHAT WEAR on her identity as a woman with a lot of self-worth.

As per her, she is not one to “stay under the thumb” or “stay in the lane”, and for those who adhere to these approaches, she has “zero fu*** to give”. These attitudes have helped her survive what she calls the “treacherous world” of fashion.

During an interview with USA Today, she stated, “The truth gets lost. Whoever gets to the microphone first sets the tidal wave. You’re like, ‘They said I have six toes, I can show you I have five. They’re like ‘She said it was six so, don’t try to hide the nubby,”.

Gabrielle’s upbringing led her to the current trajectories

Union attributes her uniqueness to her parents. She was inspired to be a "strong and independent woman" by her social worker mother. Because her mother was in touch with everyday life, she instilled in her an early age a concern for social concerns. Her unwavering opinions on social justice issues reflect this.
