Despite of the fact that Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have been strong all season, mechanical issues have put them below the points cutoff in the playoff. However, Chase Elliott rubbishes all claims as he displays his love for good competition. The playoff picture has changed a lot already.
Harvick and Busch were both subject to issues with their cars. And both of them had their cars go up in flames. Obviously, this put them below 12th in the standings, allowing room for them to be eliminated after the race at Bristol. Of course, this would help other competitors like Chase Elliott to proceed further in the competition.
However, Elliott is not one to get happy about that as he said, “Honestly, I don’t really care about the other guys, and I’m not going to get excited about other guys’ misfortune." He seems to want to fight the drivers fair on track.
