NASCAR ‘S 2022 SEASON IS HERE AND THERE HAS BEEN A TON OF CHANGES IN THE SPORT HEADING INTO THE NEXT GEN YEAR. EVERYTHING ON THE TRACK THIS YEAR WILL HAVE SOME KIND OF CHANGE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. SO WHAT ARE THE ONES YOU NEED TO KNOW. THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NASCAR IN 2022.
The Engines are now going to have a 670 Horsepower target limit
NASCAR will now use single-lug, 18" Alumanium wheels. Aluminum will be lighter and the single-lug will reduce tyre deformations.
The new NASCAR cars will use composite bodies, just like teh Xfinity series to improve durablity.
NASCAR is going to a 4-speed sequential trnsmission from the traditional, H-Pattern 5-Speeed
There will now be aero vents, along with new front splitters and rear deffuser. On top of that, NASCAR will also use a 4-inch spoiler.
Next-Gen cars will now use a new independent rear suspension, with adjustable 5-way dampers
