David Benavidez's Gruelling Workout and Diet for Caleb Plant Fight

The American professional boxer and a two-time WBC super-middleweight champion, David Benavidez is all set to face Caleb Plant on March 25, 2023. Ahead of his upcoming bout, let's take a look at his training routine.

Benavidez wakes up at 8 a.m. and runs for about 6 miles with strength and conditioning from 7-8 every night. He also performs neck training exercises to strengthen his neck.

Strength Training 

He includes running in his training routine and runs about 6 miles in the morning.

Cardio

He spars on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and also performs heavy bag workouts.

Boxing

Benavidez performs core exercises to further strengthen his abdominal strength.

Core Training

His training diet is clean and includes the intake of healthy foods in the right proportions. His breakfast included three eggs and a tomato, lunch includes fish with tomato, and the same for dinner with about two gallons of water a day.
