In a recent appearance on UpUpDownDown for a 2k23 Stream, Stone Cold recalled McMahon’s laughable performance at WrestleMania 38. When asked about some of his favorite stunners, Austin revealed that his least favorite would probably be the last one with the chairman.
Steve Austin recalled the moment and stated, “Vince, I mean, he wasn’t even in the top 100. That last one at 38, when we botched that one…”
The audience instantly felt that the finisher didn’t come off as smoothly as it did all those years ago.
He added, “I just got up and started laughing because when you blow something that bad, everybody knows what’s up, so you might as well let them all in right off the get go.”
Therefore, ‘The Ringmaster’ rated this stunner as one of the least impressive ones in his career.
