The Greek God of tennis, Stefanos Tsitsipas exits from the Queen’s Club Championships 2019 as the Canadian prodigy, Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated him 7-5, 6-2 in the quarterfinals at west London club.
Before their meeting in Queen’s, Stefanos Tsitsipas suffered a straight-set loss to the 18-year-old Canadian at Indian Wells 2019. The Greek World Number six mentioned that Auger-Aliassime was a tough foe on the junior circuit as well and Tsitsipas could defeat him just once in doubles.
“He’s the most difficult opponent I’ve ever faced, and I think it’s going to take a couple of tries to beat him,” Stefanos Tsitsipas said. “It’s very difficult because he has one of the best returns on the tour. He has a really powerful, accurate serve, which is tough to read.”

“He can create a lot of opportunities from his backhand, but also, at the same time, he can be very aggressive on the forehand side,” Stefanos Tsitsipas continued. The 20-year-old Greek complimented the World Number 21, Auger-Aliassime’s all-courter skills and the Canadian’s athleticism bolsters his strokes from every zone of the tennis court.
“There’s not much to come up with when you play against him. He’s pretty much solid from everywhere. It does worry me (that I will be competing against him for big titles), because, I mean it’s upsetting obviously that he’s better than me,” Stefanos Tsitsipas mentioned.

World Number six firmly believes that Felix Auger-Aliassime outshines him in all aspects of tennis. “I have to accept that he’s better than me. I might never beat him, but I think that way, just need to wait, years maybe, for the chance to come. If not, then not. If yes, then fantastic. I’ll donate, I don’t know, 10000 for that win to a charity (smiling),” Stefanos Tsitsipas added.
Stefanos Tsitsipas won’t be surprised if Felix Auger-Aliassime defeats Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic and he also mentioned that Auger-Aliassime will be soon ranked inside the top five ATP rankings.
