Next-generation star Stefanos Tsitsipas takes a funny dig at his Laver cup teammate, Alexander Zverev’s fake mustache at the ongoing Shanghai Rolex Masters 2019.

After his second-round victory at the Shanghai Masters 2019, Stefanos Tsitsipas was walking through a passage to the dressing room, where he saw Alexander Zverev’s picture on the wall. The Greek gun was captured poking fun at the German’s mustache, which was painted on him.

The 21-year-old pointed out the fake mustache on Alexander Zverev’s face on the poster and said: “Sascha’s (Alexander Zverev) fake mustache! Someone painted it on him.”

The cameraman then asked Stefanos Tsitsipas, “Who did that?”

Stefanos Tsitsipas laughed and put the blame on Dominic Thiem, whose poster was placed beside Alexander Zverev. The Greek gun held the Austrian responsible for playing a prank on Zverev’s face. He said: “Definitely not me! I think it was Dominic, they’re pretty good friends. So I guess he did it.”

It will be interesting to find out who actually played this prank and how Alexander Zverev will take revenge from the prankster. It was also found out that the poster was not tampered till Monday.

Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in the second round of the Shanghai Tolex Masters 2019 on Wednesday and will face Hubert Hurkacz in the third round.

On the other hand, Alexander Zverev, who defeated Jeremy Chardy will take on the in-form Andrey Rublev in the round of 16. While Dominic Thiem will be up against Nikoloz Basilashvili after rallying past Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta on Wednesday.
