The LSU Tigers emerged victorious against IOWA Hawks in the 2023 NCAA Women?s Championship. High numbers from Jasmine Carson and Alexis Morris led Shaquille O?Neal?s alma mater to cruise through Caitlin Clark?s 30-point game. The win came as a surprise to the entire world of basketball. Iowa was the projected favorite to win because of the killer season the superstar was having. Caitlin averaged 27.8 points per game with a 3-point percentage close to 40.

And, speaking of Carson, she has her own rituals making her the winner that she is on the court. What are they?

Undoubtedly, LSU put themselves in a winning position by understanding their game’s defensive and offensive areas. Before the commencement of the final game, Kim Mulkey (LSU?s coach) had already spoken about how Iowa will suffocate their perimeter players. Despite that, she recognized that the Tigers needed to make their jumpers count to give them a chance at the title. And based on what happened, nobody took it more seriously than Carson.

For the entirety of the ?23 NCAA Tournament, Jasmine had only scored 9 points on a 4-21 shooting. She had to come off the bench to make opportunities for bigger bodies on the roster. But she seized the matter when it counted the most. Jasmine Carson went for a fiery 7-7 shooting split, with 5 of those from a distance torching the opponents from all over the court. By the end of the half, LSU led 59-42 behind Jasmine?s 21-points and the buzzer-beater three.?

Carson immediately became a favorite amongst big names like Shaquille O’Neal and Magic Johnson. Additionally, since then, she appeared in several television and web interviews and even met Mark Cuban to discuss a business venture.?

Jasmine on Who Runs the Rap Game?Memphis or Atlanta

Basketball and music are industries that exist in proximity. Like any other hooper, The Memphis native also loves to feed off the energy of rap and hip-hop music. In a recent interview with RealLyfe Street Starz? RECORD, Carson was asked about her favorite artist from Memphis. To this, she responds with names like Finesse2Tymes, Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, etc.

Furthermore, she was asked who she thinks is better?Atlanta or the Memphis rappers. Jasmine, being from Memphis, replies, ?Got to be Atlanta? She said ?I got to give it to Lil Baby, he’s my favorite artist.??

A few minutes later, Carson was questioned on her preparedness before games. The host probed on her pre-game rituals or habits that helped her become the best version on the court. The current champion replied, ?I pray; I listen to gospel before games.?

The guard added, ?I turn on Lil Baby, NBA Young Boy, all of that.? Carson also mentioned that she likes to go through the scouting reports and pray for no injuries and a good game.
