Shaun White is having the time to of his life in Las Vegas. This is the first trip that the athlete has taken after his retirement. White is in Vegas with his girlfriend Nina Dobrev and a host of other friends.

The couple went there to promote Nina Dobrev’s wine venture. However, at the same time, they are also having a low-key retirement celebration for Shaun White.

White retired after 23 years of what was a phenomenal career. He participated in his 5th and last Olympics in Beijing 2022 and officially retired after that. Although he hasn’t thrown an official retirement party yet, looks like the list of parties has finally begun.

Retirement parties have just begun for Shaun White

Las Vegas is the City of Lights and Jazz. So it makes sense that Shaun White has kicked off his parties in this city. Currently, Shaun is in Vegas with his gang of friends and, obviously, Nina Dobrev.

“Spice up your retired life, Flying Tomato,” read the menu card that White shared over his Instagram. The menu card contained all the drinks for the night. This included everything from fresh lime juice to tequila.

The drinks were provided by Casamigos. This is a premium wine brand by George Clooney and Rande Gerber. The menu also contained their famous “Casamigos Blanco Tequila”. Besides, the menu contained Fresh Lime Juice, Cucumber, Jalapeno, Simple syrup, Fresh Blood Orange Juice, and Agave. Quite the menu you have got there Shaun White!

 

The athlete shared several moments from the party night. Nina Dobrev was spotted wearing a bright red wig, as a tribute to Shaun White’s iconic “Flying Tomato” look. Not only that, the gang parties through the night; certainly a way to begin many of White’s retirement parties.

This is also the first trip that Shaun has taken after his retirement. He is, therefore, trying to enjoy the most. White definitely deserves some good time to party after all these years of competing.

A farewell message from White

After his last run at the Olympics, a sigh of relief washed over Shaun White. It was over. 23 years of snowboarding. He had now retired. And he was more than thankful to everyone who had supported him on this journey.

“I just want to thank everyone for watching. Everyone at home, thank you. Snowboarding, thank you. It’s been the love of my life,” said the 35-year-old snowboarder.

He has dedicated his entire life to his passion. Shaun White changed the game of snowboarding and took it to the next level. The athlete definitely deserves time for himself now.
