Cricket South Africa has announced a bumper programme of home matches this season during which the Proteas will be taking on Australia,NZ,Sri Lanka and Ireland .
The 2016/17 season will start with a two-match series against NZ in August 2016 to be played in Durban and Pretoria . It will be the first time Test Matches will be staged in South Africa. This will be followed by a five-match ODI series against Australia from the end of September to the middle of October 2016 before Sri Lanka arrives for the longest tour of the summer in December that includes three tests, five ODIs, and three T20 internationals.
Ireland will also make a brief appearance on the calendar when they play a single ODI against South Africa and Australia each between September 25-27 . In between the visits by Australia and Sri Lanka , the Proteas will tour Australia for a Test series and also tour NZ in February and March 2017 .

25 September: ODI v South Africa, Benoni
27 September: ODI v Australia,Benoni

CSA will soon announce the Proteas tour to Australia during November 2016 for the Test Series .
