Rohit Sharma’s brilliant knock of 150 went in vain as South Africa pulled off a thrilling five-run victory in the first ODI against India to continue their winning run.
India required 22 off the last two overs, MS Dhoni failed to finish the job after Rohit (150 runs off 133 balls) got out in the 47th over. The South African team made a fantastic comeback after Rohit’s departure as India crumbled under pressure to end at 298 for 7.
The visitors are now 1-0 up in the five-match series.

When a batsman scores 150, and you still lose an ODI, then I guess the other 10 need to put their hand up and accept the blame. #INDvSA
