Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Simon Rutter explained that Sider-Man: Miles Morales is built on PS4’s 2018 exclusive. Yes, the game will be enhanced for PS5 and will also have a significant expansion attached to it.
“I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game. There’s a substantial Miles Morales component, which is the expansion element, but also within the game as well there’s been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features.”
Many expected a whole new entry in the franchise. While this is certain to disappoint many, it’s still something to be excited about. Spider-Man was, no doubt, one of the best games in recent years. A significant expansion of the same isn’t bad at all. Moreover, Insomniac is surely working on a new installment as we speak.
