  1. Difference from DualShock?
The inclusion of the new haptic feedback technology and adaptive triggers will change the way controllers worked and felt before. Now they will contribute as a part of the ‘sense’ experience.“Both haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are designed to produce powerful tactile sensations that deepen player immersion and increase gaming interactivity.”
  2.  Physical dimensions and weight?
    160mm x 66mm x 106mm (width x height x depth) and it will weigh 280g.
  3. How exactly does haptic feedback technology work?
“Next-generation haptic feedback replaces traditional ‘rumble’ features with dual actuators, offering a more immersive suite of powerful physical sensations.” Game developers will work around this feature and include the technology into the game to allow a more immersive experience for the players.
  4. How is DualShock ‘rumble’ different from DualSense ‘haptic’ feedback?
The haptic feedback technology is a lot more precise and enables more physical sensations than the motor rumble.
The DualSense wireless controller’s next-generation haptic technology uses dual actuators instead of motors, and the results are quicker, more precise, and far more tactile. These haptic effects can produce a far wider range of physical sensations, from gentle pulsing centered in a specific part of the controller, to more robust physical effects.”
  5. What about accessibility options?
The DualSense will allow players to modify the intensity of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Re-mapping of buttons is also available. Voice dictation with the aid of the DualSense microphone will make controlling these options a lot easier.
  6.  Can the DualShock be used anymore?
Players can use the DualShock to play PS4 games on PS5. Nonetheless, all PS5 games will require the DualSense.
