What does Bubba Watson have to say about the Solheim Cup 2021?
"It's 50% ladies, so we're trying to grow the game, and that means growing the ladies game. I'm just here showing support as much as I can." @bubbawatson is at the #SolheimCup all week supporting @SolheimCupUSA 👏 pic.twitter.com/AObWUGTu8W

From his words, Watson just seemed happy about supporting everyone at the event, wanting to show that they do indeed care. “We do love them. It’s just like the NBA and the WNBA – we’re here to support them and try to grow the game. It’s 50% ladies, right? So we’re trying to grow the game of golf. That means grow the ladies’ game”.
He added that he is there just to give some added support to the team, highlighting his bond with Nelly Korda. “She had a connection this year when she talked about my speech of US opener my interview with US Open. And so we reached out and tried to help her and just tried to encourage her as best I can”.
“It’s fun been fun to watch”. Korda and Watson met for the first time at the Solheim Cup, the latter referring to her and the team as ‘awesome’.
He even gave some advice, wanting rookies to enjoy and smile. As per Watson, the smiles pave the way, giving everyone the energy needed to go forward. “Even if you’re losing, you start smiling and enjoying the game and watching all these people cheer. It should push you forward, and you got to dig deep”. If one does not get that moment, they have to come back the next day and try again.
Bubba Watson also spoke about Korda again, as she is World No. 1, advising her to enjoy the moment and keep fighting. “I mean she’s number one in the world. So, if I was telling Nelly I would just tell her to dig deep, that’s what she’s done before”.
