WATCH: USWNT Star Megan Rapinoe Convinces Reluctant Bouncer to Let Her Friends Into Rihanna’s Met Gala After Party

The Met Gala 2021 was sparkling with the biggest stars walking the red carpet. The likes of Simone Biles, Allyson Felix, Megan Rapinoe, and Serena Williams graced the occasion with their stunning looks.

Apart from the stars and their innovative attires, the most iconic fashion evening is also known for its after-party. Popstar Rhianna threw a huge Met Gala after-party. USWNT forward Megan Rapinoe could not have missed the party, however, she had an unusual encounter with the bouncers at the party.

Rapinoe had clinched the bronze medal for team USWNT at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She has been on the field for quite a while now as one of the most crucial USWNT players. Rapinoe was also part of the London Olympics 2008 gold medal-winning USWNT team. Megan Rapinoe walked the red carpet of Met Gala 2021 in a dazzling red suit.

The Soccer team captain is a well-known figure around the world. After the event was over, the stars went to the celebrity after-party hosted by Rihanna. Since it was a celebrity party, a huge number of people showed up at the venue. Megan was all set to attend the party with her friends, but they had to face an obstacle in the form of the bouncer.

Ozark star Julia Garner got stuck in the crowd and was having trouble entering. However, she stormed her way into the crowd as shown in the video. While the guard allowed Garner to enter, he stopped Megan’s other friends from entering. The soccer star then stepped into the situation and persuaded the bouncer to let her friends inside.

Top Athletes attended the Met Gala 2021

Apart from the Hollywood stars, the world’s top athletes also attended the fashion evening. F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. NBA star Stephen Curry, tennis legend Serena Williams, gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles and athletic legend Allyson Felix walked across the red carpet.

Recent US Open 2021 finalists, Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandez, also made their debut at the iconic event. American sprinting star Sha’Carri Richardson also surprised her fans as she entered with F1 legendary driver Lewis Hamilton. Tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Venus Williams were also in attendance.
