As per RMC Sports, he said, “I hope that we’ll have Mbappé in his preferred position and that we’ll stop the madness of wanting him to play 9.” 

Riolo added, “I don’t like Mbappé as a 9 with the ball. He’s got no head movement, he’s no good with his back to the game. He’s a player who needs to run away and take the deep.“He also suggested that Enrique should consider Portuguese soccer star Goncalo Ramos as the center-forward.

He also recommended that Kang-in Lee or Randal Kolo Muani be on the right. At the moment, PSG has a crucial match against Dortmund, and for the same reason, he wants Zaire Emery in the midfield. However, now the fans have to wait and find out what position Mbappe will play after the manager’s latest comment.

The Frenchman has the freedom to choose

After Mbappe’s goalless match, PSG’s manager claimed that his position had never changed. According to him, the Frenchman can play in any position he wants as long as he doesn’t block the other player’s game. Enrique stated, “He does have to do some defensive tasks logically because we are a team. In attack, he has total freedom to move around.“
