The Premier League is highly likely to see a huge move as Aston Villa star Jack Grealish is close to signing for English champions Manchester City. The club has submitted a bid of ?100m and if accepted, it will eclipse the league record Manchester United paid for their French midfielder Paul Pogba.

While Aston Villa are yet to formally respond to City’s offer – which was made on Friday – it is understood they are now willing to part ways with their captain. Now it’s up to the England star who’ll decide if he wants to play under Pep Guardiola.

However, all the hints point to him being open to the move. Grealish recently deleted the tweets he made about supporting City’s arch-rivals United as a kid.

He’ll also see a rise in his wages at City. The Birmingham man was also linked with a move to Manchester United last season, but it all fizzled out.

This isn’t the only big-money move Manchester City is going for, as they have also put in a ?100m bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

The English captain is undoubtedly the best striker in the league and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would want to keep him at all costs. Spurs rejected City’s bid, and it’s hard to see them budging unless and until City improves their bid to over ?170m.
