Botafogo’s coach Luis Castro was replaced on Wednesday, as he decided to join Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. It seems Saudis are in for some serious business in this transfer market. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been the leading player in Al Nassr. Reports said that he had his suggestions on the table for the club. The team needed a better coach this season and Ronaldo suggested the former Botafogo coach as their new successor. Hence the move which became inevitable for the Brazilian side.

 Their millionaire owner John Texter said,If Cristiano Ronaldo called me and said: ‘Get on a plane and come to Riyadh’, I would probably go too” He knew this was coming as Saudis arrived. “I knew the risk because I see the influence of Saudi money in the world and in sports.” With Al Nassr gearing up with the realms of Cristiano Ronaldo, Botafogo couldn’t stop Castro from parting ways.

The change in their manager can be a serious statement for the Saudi League. Casto brings experience from various clubs like Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Botafogo.
