The duo was present at the event, sharing light moments and reminiscing about Rapinoe. Sue Bird praised the remarkable career that she had, setting a shining example for the future generation. Now that her exhilarating career has come to a close, what lies ahead for Megan Rapinoe?

Well, Bird joked about Rapinoe missing out on her incredible life after retirement. Though they will be on the same page by the end of 2023, she keeps behind a successful stint for her country. Bird acknowledges her achievements and plans for no massive engagement after she retires from the beautiful game.

Rapinoe has already announced publicly retiring from soccer on the 8 of July. It will be a new journey for the world champion and her fiancé departing from sports. Making up to their company A Touch More or just simply reviving the unattended ground of life. Sue Bird said her fiancé had “like retirement F.O.M. O” when she “saw the life I was living“.

She added, “I think we’ll probably take some time and just see what it’s like with no sports, which I think we’re both looking forward to and then go from there“. Their concern right now is just to run the errand in peace after years of athletic career. That talks about “taking over the world” for them.
